History of the iconic VW Transporter. 

Preceding the release of the 6th generation of the VW Transporter, the best-selling van in history, we were approached with two challenges. First: Because of Renault most people in France call all vans 'Trafic'. To change that, we needed to remind them that the true original since 1947 is the VW Transporter. The second challenge was to tease the upcoming T6 and open the appetite in the French market for the campaign.  
We traced back the history and people behind the iconic T1 and developed a campaign: History always remembers the firsts - the visionaries that do something outstanding for the first time. 

The campaign started with print, display and social ads asking people: who was the third man on the moon?  Then we reminded everyone that the VW-Transporter is an icon because it was the first of its kind. We also created a social-media game and a web-special celebrating its history and 6th generation release.
